PS. Max here: Is it customary for Tobee writers to take words (like "zaying" for example) and run them by Toby first if a person (like me who is trying to tobify) wants to confirm if they are in the dictionary already AND to correct existing Tobee words (if they exist) BEFORE going to press with them? Another related question I have -- which no doubt has been answered by those people who Speak Tobee fluently -- is the order of steps one might best take if they want to create something in Tobee AND which includes words they know may NOT be in the most up-to-date dictionary. I guess I have been a little confused about this only because I ....
Ah! I tink I just figured out the answer to my own question about what words might be new and what words might already exist -- and how to proceed from that point.
Duh -- Maybe the answers are IN the dictionary itelf and that it might be best to PRINT THE [most recent] VERSION and then email TcT with the changes.
This (if it is the best process) leads me to another question. Does the dictionary actually get updated when a person specifies words they would like to "add" to it during the writing/translation
process?
I suppose this is a silly question because I could obviously LOOK to see if the words WERE added.
So, if they ARE added, would my emailing TcT about my additions require Tct to manually update the dictionary in an identical fashion -- and therefore be "double work" so to [tobee] speak?
And if it is, wouldn't it make more sense for a person to send the "newer" dictionary itself to Tct so he could post that to the Mastah's Temple of Dictionary Archive Sources? -- the MTDAS
Maybe these and other related Tobyistic questions have already been asked. I therefore may be a bit of a late bloomer in the field of Tobee.
Please Advise on propah procedure for creating something new in Tobee.

As it is 3:42 am, I may not be picking the best time to address your questions, but here goes anyway.
What I do is something like this.
Just write your message and don't worry too much about whether it's English or Toby. Then run the translator against it. You may have thrown in a few words that you KNOW aren't in the dictionary but that you want to be (tobee?!)
When given the opportunity to add new words, only add the words you're pretty sure are your own latest mastahpieces.
Then run the translator again, against the output, but this time use the untranslate feature (that would be the -u option).
Study the result of this. It should be pretty much in English by now. Jot down any words that aren't in English. Use the Toby Speak Dictionary Search Facility to test these words. You might have misspelled a Toby word in the original original. Make appropriate adjustments to your almost completely English file by either fixing the English manually or by running the translator again and supplying new words when asked.
It's a bit tricky keeping track of input and output file names so you have to get creative and be careful.
Toby Speak is truly a dynamic language and sometimes the best words come into it via reckluss abandun.
