Kinda reminds me of Douglas Hofstadter's classic book Godel, Escher, Bach: An Eternal Golden Braid's cover.
BTW, for a while I couldn't figure out why Max put 2 D's and 4 E's on his cube. How unbalanced, asymmetric, lopsided. But then the light Dawned. She has 1 D and 2 E's in her name. How fortunate that a cube has 6 faces. Nice job, Max.
TcT's swirling star made me think of swirling sour cream into bowl of pumpkin soup - made me hungry! Max's 3Dee cube is really very clever and interesting, however, DeeDee is anything but transparent, squared, cubed or otherwise! And kind of funny that "light dawned" (but not over marblehead).The Bradley Boyz have done it again! Great math and poozle solving.
