Thank you for contacting Senator Collins’ office to request tickets to the presidential inauguration on January 20th, 2009. Her office received an unprecedented number of requests from Mainers wishing to witness this historic event. Senator Collins is very pleased that she is able to offer you 2 priority standing tickets to the inauguration.
These tickets are non-transferable and must be picked up in person. You can pick up your tickets at Senator Collins’ Washington, DC office in Room 413 of the Dirksen Senate Office Building, beginning Friday, January 16th, from 9:00 am until 6:00 pm, and on Monday, January 19th from 9:00 am until 5:00 pm. If you do not claim your tickets by 5:00 pm on Monday, we can no longer guarantee your reservation.
If your travel arrangements prevent you from picking up your tickets during the scheduled times, please contact our office as soon as possible to make alternate arrangements. Also, if your travel plans change and you no longer plan to attend the inauguration, please notify our office immediately, as we currently have thousands of people on our wait list.
