Blue Moon

The name came "out of the blue" and it's much better than "13-point skip-3 star-circle interlocking 37-piece 4-color puzzle." My previous puzzle seemed too rigid and actually ended up being too easy to assemble. I reverted back to a more wavy design and somewhere along the way had the brilliant idea of keeping the round edge pieces. Creativity is often accidental.

I immediately liked two things:
1)the roundness
2)the bloo and wood cullerz. They look very natural and are in harmony with the shape. "Blue Moon" is a good title.

I love these! They are like mandallas. I saw the angel BEFORE I read your text about the puzzle!. I also liked all that you said about your creative process. I agree, the color boo with the wood kuller is "perfect." It is more elegant and simple, yet still shows the intricate detail of how you did it. More natural. Keep making these puleeeze. They are wonderful. The color theorem is an interesting challenge. I can see how that might intrigue you!

It's a little easier to spot in my most recent cut of the puzzle. Look at "3:00 o'clock" in
