Have a safe trip, enjoy the historic moment for all that it is. Can't wait to hear your story after.

We have made it to DC safely. Yesterday we passed through Marlborrow on 495, and Hartford on 84, close to all of my blog friends! Things seem pretty normal here so far, most people are still arriving in town I think. Security starts getting beefed up on Monday. We are going to do a dry run of going to the inauguration today just to see where to go.

Cool. You're there! I've been watching Obama (on TV) wave to people from his train ride from 'Phili' to Washington, too. I like his style with that Lincolnesque idea. As mentioned, I will be taking Tuesday off to see history in the making. Wouldn't it be Amysing if one of us saw you awn tv there! Have a safe trip.

Dear Cub Reporter DeeDee,

Luna (the Tuna), Linda and I are very jealous and hope you have a really great time, take some historic pictures of our soon-to-be 44th President of the United States (if you can) and come back safely. We'll be looking for you among the millions of people that will be with you.
